Did an alignment on this by eyeballing it. Got it tracking perfectly straight now
Got some time behind the wheel before racing it to figure out the worn out five-speed, which is a whole different world com JayhawkJake's Sonic.

You autocrossed an old Mazda pickup?

Never thought of autocrossing my B2300, but you've got me scratching my chin. Hmm.

Did I miss something? When did you get a little Mazda pickup?

It's my mom's boyfriend's. I went over yesterday and fixed it up since it was undrivable, and now it's autocrossable if I can ever get past how weird the clutch is. It engages half an inch from the end of the HUUUGE pedal travel.
Torquey little bastard, though. I'm gonna spin out SO MANY TIMES since I've never driven RWD before.

Hopefully they'll let you drive it. Might be too high.

I tossed it around a bit and it was pretty stable. Can't imagine it would be under threat of rolling over.
I just need to prove to Scott I wont get out in the FSAE car and forget to shift or run the whole course at 13,000 rpm or something.

You might want to shoot Guy or someone an email when you register just to make sure they'll let you run it

Good luck, they'd never let you run that at a properly run SCCA event, too tall for its width. Sorry to be a killjoy.

But despite that it has a low center of gravity, and upgraded sway bars that pretty much curbstomp body roll. Someone would be hard pressed to roll it.
